Belarus-Russia twin city meeting gathers almost 60 cities in Pskov

PSKOV, 14 October (BelTA) - The 11th twin city meeting of Belarus and Russia highlighting the strengthening of the Union State in the face of external challenges and threats is taking place in Pskov on 14-16 October, BelTA has learned.

Attending the event are about 60 Belarusian and Russian cities. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin sent their greetings to the participants and guests of the meeting.

In his greetings the Belarusian leader stated that the twinning movement is becoming an important component of the bilateral interregional cooperation between Belarus and Russia, gaining strength and momentum.
