MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) - Scholarships of the President of Belarus in 2021 have been awarded to 69 graduate students. Belarusian head of state Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the corresponding decree, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Among them are representatives of technical, physics, mathematical, biological, chemical, medical, agricultural, economic, humanitarian sciences and sport.
All these graduate students are doing thesis research in priority scientific, technical and innovation areas. The results of research are presented at national and international conferences, published in scientific journals and used in industry, healthcare, agriculture and education.
“The presidential order aims to support creative activity of young talented graduate students, develop domestic scientific schools and encourage training of scientific workers of the highest qualifications,” the press service said.
