MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the people of Finland as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that in the past 100 years Finland has made huge progress in its development, has become an example for many states in terms of living standards, education, innovations and healthcare.
“Belarus has always respected Finland as a mentally close and reliable partner. I am convinced that in the near future Minsk and Helsinki will be able to resume comprehensive political dialogue. We are irrevocably interested in continuing productive cooperation with the Finnish side in the green economy, energy sector, science and education, forestry industry and agriculture,” the message of greetings reads.
