MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) - It is important to maintain an ongoing dialogue on all fronts, Uzbekistan Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov said during an expanded meeting with Belarusian counterpart Sergei Aleinik in Minsk on 11 April, BelTA has learned.
Bakhtiyor Saidov thanked for the invitation to visit beautiful Belarus, a fraternal and friendly country for Uzbekistan.
He noted the importance of the Belarus-Uzbekistan dialogue on a regular basis and recalled a number of meetings with the Belarusian side in Tashkent this year. The Uzbekistan minister urged to actively implement all agreements reached at the highest level between the two countries.
"We are happy to be in beautiful Minsk, the hero city. This city is an example in terms of cleanliness and order," Bakhtiyor Saidov said.
The minister thanked for the warm welcome in Minsk, including during the talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
