MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) - The negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the USA on the Ukrainian settlement have concluded; they lasted about two hours, TASS reports citing a statement by the head of the Russian delegation, Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.
According to him, the trilateral negotiations were tough but businesslike. A new meeting on the Ukrainian settlement will take place in the near future.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian delegation reported directly to President Vladimir Putin on the progress of the consultations.
The trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the USA on the Ukrainian conflict took place in Geneva on 17-18 February. The first day of consultations lasted six hours. The negotiations were held behind closed doors.
