MOSCOW, 5 November (BelTA) - The Supreme State Council of the Belarus-Russia Union State is set to take place in Minsk in December 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin said as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik to receive his credentials in the Kremlin on 5 November, BelTA has learned.
“In December we will mark the 25th anniversary of the Union State Treaty, and Minsk will host a meeting of the Union State Supreme State Council to celebrate the anniversary,” Vladimir Putin said.
