MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Mongolia Dmitry Gorelik has been awarded the Mongolian Medal of Friendship, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh presented the Medal of Friendship to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Mongolia Dmitry Gorelik as a gesture of Mongolia’s particular esteem for the Belarusian people and its leadership,” the statement reads. “During the official ceremony, the Mongolian leader highlighted the high level of interaction between our states, which is based on friendship and mutual respect.”
The Belarusian ambassador expressed gratitude to the Mongolian head of state for the great honor and reaffirmed the Belarusian side’s commitment to further strengthening and developing comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation with Mongolia.
