CHISINAU, 18 April (BelTA) - Moldova expects to obtain an observer status at the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in May, Moldova President Igor Dodon said in an interview with BelTA.

The head of state said that Moldova applied for the observer status at the Eurasian Economic Union in 2017.

“A decision should be formalized at this year's first meeting of the EAEU heads of state. According to my information, this meeting should take place in May. We have been told that our application will be approved,” Igor Dodon said.
