MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – The Alaska meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump was very productive, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was quoted as saying by TASS.
A VGTRK journalist asked Marco Rubio to share his assessment of the meeting and quoted his answer on VGTRK’s Telegram channel: “Very good, very productive.” The U.S. secretary of state participated in the talks between the two leaders.
The historic summit took place in Alaska on 15 August. The discussion included the pathway to peace in Ukraine.
