MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) - The meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko made a deep impression on me, Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, said as he met with Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi in Minsk on 22 September, BelTA has learned.
On behalf of the CPC delegation, Li Xi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and the meticulous preparation of the visit. He poetically compared his emotions, stirred by the beauty of Belarus and the friendship between the two countries, to the breeze of spring.
He emphasized the intensive program of his visit to Belarus. “Today we met with President Aleksandr Lukashenko. We had an in-depth dialogue. First, there was a meeting with all members of the delegation, followed by a more private discussion. This meeting made a strong impression on me.”
“This special reception reflects the long-standing strategic partnership between our General Secretary Xi Jinping and Aleksandr Lukashenko. They engage in joint strategic planning and share a deep friendship. Together, they are advancing the development of our bilateral ties,” Li Xi stressed.
He also recalled the recent meeting between Aleksandr Lukashenko and Xi Jinping in China. “The purpose of my visit is to implement the important agreements reached by our two leaders,” he emphasized.
“China and Belarus have established an all-weather and all-round strategic partnership, and our relations have reached an all-time high. We are true friends and reliable partners who communicate sincerely and trust one another. Strategic mutual trust and close high-level contacts between Xi Jinping and Aleksandr Lukashenko have laid a solid foundation for the continued development of China-Belarus relations at the highest level,” Li Xi added.
