Kyrgyzstan in favor of peaceful resolution of disagreements

MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Kyrgyzstan is in favor of peaceful resolution of disagreements, President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan said at the session of the CIS Heads of State Council on 15 October, BelTA informs.

Sadyr Japarov focused on the efforts to ensure regional security and stressed: “Kyrgyzstan is in favor of peaceful resolution of existing disagreements, using only political and diplomatic methods to ensure regional security and further development of relations.”

“The CIS countries need to join efforts and do their best to strengthen measures of trust near our borders,” the president of Kyrgyzstan is convinced.

Sadyr Japarov reaffirmed Kyrgyzstan's interest in the more dynamic and efficient cooperation in the CIS. “Kyrgyzstan is committed to the expansion of ties with the CIS countries and will continue making a contribution to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and the promotion of integration processes within the framework of the CIS,” the president of Kyrgyzstan concluded.
