CIS plenipotentiaries to review performance of CIS Interstate Council on Industrial Safety

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) - The next meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives will be held at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk on 22 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The CIS permanent representatives are set to review the performance of the CIS Interstate Council on Industrial Safety in 2017-2021, sum up the results of the meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council, and also outline the tasks regarding the implementation of the documents and agreements.

The CIS Heads of Government Council was held in Astana on 28 October. It signed more than 20 documents. Among them were the agreement on cooperation in the prevention and response to public health emergencies and a joint action plan to counter antimicrobial resistance, the concept of scientific, technical and technological cooperation and the concept of digital transformation of the industries of the chemical complex of the CIS states, and action plans to them. The heads of government adopted decisions on the interstate radio navigation program for 2023-2026, on the interstate target program "Reclamation of the territories of the states affected by uranium mining industries", approved an action plan to the Year of the Russian Language as a Language of Interethnic Communication in the CIS in 2023 and a plan of priority activities in the field of humanitarian cooperation for 2023-2024.
