MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Valery Mitskevich will pay visits to Panama and Cuba on 11-15 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
“On 11-12 February Valery Mitskevich as head of the delegation of the National Assembly of Belarus for contacts with the Latin American Parliament, will take part in the XXXVI General Assembly of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino) in Panama. As part of the Assembly, the deputy chairman of the House of Representatives will make a speech, during which he intends to provide his Latin American counterparts with objective information about the situation around Belarus, and also hold a series of bilateral meetings,” the press service said.
On 14-15 February Valery Mitskevich is set to pay a visit to Cuba at the invitation of the Parliament of Cuba. He will hold meetings at the Cuban parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will visit the Mariel Special Development Zone, the Fidel Castro Heritage Center and the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples.
