MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Lukashevich has met with Honorary Consul of Belarus in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Davit Zeude Khayle Selassie, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The conversation focused on ways to intensify contacts between Belarus and Ethiopia, cooperation in trade and economy and joint projects in culture and education.
The honorary consul will keep working to protect the interests of and assist Belarusian citizens and legal entities. On behalf of the Belarusian foreign minister, Sergei Lukashevich handed over the honorary badge “100 years of the diplomatic service of Belarus” to Davit Zeude Khayle Selassie for his significant services to Belarus-Ethiopia relations.
