MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the UAE with concurrent accreditation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Igor Bely met with Mohammed Ibrahim Hattan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Saudi Chambers, during a visit to Riyadh on 10 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in the UAE.
“The parties discussed practical ways to increase trade and coordinated approaches to holding joint events for representatives of the two countries' business communities,” the embassy said.

Not long ago, Belarus and Saudi Arabia agreed to cooperate in the field of civil aviation. Consultations between the aviation authorities of the two countries were held during the 42nd session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly. Following the talks, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the aviation authorities of the Republic of Belarus and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This document is a continuation of the agreements in the field of civil aviation following the entry into force of the air service agreement signed between the governments of Belarus and Saudi Arabia. It will serve as a starting point for the development of air travel between the two states, which will contribute to the development of economic cooperation.
