MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov received a copy of the credentials of Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Belarus (with residence in Moscow) Thit Linn Ohn, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Myanmar relations, including current arrangements of the upcoming bilateral events. The parties took note of the steady dynamics of cooperation and the intensification of Belarusian-Myanmar contacts both at the official and business-to-business levels.
“Welcoming the growth of trade this year, the parties agreed to continue working on joint economic projects in industry, agriculture and other areas,” the ministry said.
