Belarus, Kazakhstan sketch out key cooperation avenues at ministerial consultations

MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – A regular round of consultations between the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kazakh one took place in Astana, Kazakhstan, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

During the negotiations the Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Utyupin while the Kazakh delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermukhambet Konuspayev. A broad range of matters concerning bilateral cooperation was discussed during the consultations. Key avenues for advancing cooperation were sketched out.

The parties mentioned the vigorous nature of the Belarus-Kazakhstan dialogue in the bilateral format and the multilateral one. The intention to continue facilitating the development of the dialogue between the ministries of foreign affairs was reaffirmed. Apart from that, practical aspects of preparing for and hosting joint events were discussed.
