Belarus, Iran discuss cooperation in the face of global, regional challenges

MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus Saeed Yari in Minsk on 7 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The parties discussed the current agenda of the Belarusian-Iranian relations, including the development of political dialogue and the intensification of economic cooperation between the two countries," the ministry said.

Concrete joint steps were outlined to strengthen Belarusian-Iranian cooperation in the face of new global and regional challenges, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
