SAMARKAND, 16 September (BelTA) – Belarus and China intend to advance high-quality cooperation in the joint implementation of the Belt and Road initiative, BelTA learned from the Belarus-China joint declaration on establishing all-weather and all-round strategic partnership.
According to the document, the sides highly appreciate the coordinating role of the Belarus-China intergovernmental committee on cooperation in advancing the entire complex of bilateral relations.
Belarus and China will continue enhancing functions and expanding mechanisms of the committee and welcome the establishment of new commissions and working groups on promising avenues.
Apart from that, Belarus and China believe that practical advancement of trade, economic, investment, credit, and finance cooperation is a key vector of Belarus-China relations.
Belarus and China will continue facilitating the realization of the agreement on trade and economic cooperation between the People's Republic of China on one side and the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states on the other side. Belarus and China will also facilitate further development of trade and economic mechanisms between China and the Eurasian Economic Union.
