MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yuri Ambrazevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties exchanged views on the cooperation between Belarus and China in the UN and other international organizations and stressed the countries' similar approaches to a wide range of issues on the international agenda. The parties also reaffirmed the strategic mutual support at the United Nations,” the press service noted.
The parties welcomed the close cooperation between Belarus and China on human rights issues in multilateral and bilateral formats based on the principles of non-interference in internal affairs and recognition of the right of each state to an independent path of progressive development.
