MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs is deeply concerned over the escalation of the situation in the Middle East region, BelTA learned from spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz.
"We consistently advocate a peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Middle East by political and diplomatic means," he stressed. "We appeal to the entire international community and international organizations to take measures and consolidate efforts to urgently stabilize the situation."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on citizens of Belarus planning to travel to the region due to urgent needs to follow the current situation and monitor the official notifications of the aviation authorities regarding the air restrictions introduced by a number of countries.
