Ambassador: Belarus views India as its priority partner in Asia

MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) – India has always been Belarus' priority partner in Asia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India Andrei Rzheussky told the media on the sidelines of the annual seminar of heads of diplomatic missions and consulates of Belarus, in Minsk on 18 July, BelTA has learned.

"India has always been and will continue to be our priority partner in Asia. This is the key partner with whom we have developed good relations in all avenues: in politics, economy, and culture," Ambassador Andrei Rzheussky said.

The diplomat stated that the recent problems with logistics have affected trade cooperation with India, but the parties are looking for and finding mutually acceptable solutions. "We are working to overcome these difficulties. We are looking for various ways to deliver Belarusian goods and cargo. We are working to ensure that everything works out," the ambassador said. “We are working fruitfully at all levels of government, preparing certain events at the high and highest levels. Everything will come in due time."
