According to the CEC, 10.58% of voters cast their ballots in Brest Oblast, 12.87% in Vitebsk Oblast, 12.41% in Gomel Oblast, 10.08% in Grodno Oblast, 11.72% in Minsk Oblast, 11.97% in Mogilev Oblast. Turnout in Minsk made up 10.92%.

IPA CIS observers to monitor Belarus' elections inside and outside the country

In line with individual plans, on election day the IPA CIS observers will monitor the elections at polling stations in Minsk, Minsk Oblast and Grodno Oblast and will also monitor out-of-country voting in Baku, Yerevan, Kishinev and Saint Petersburg.

An estimated 4.69 percent of voters turned out for the first day of early voting ahead of the 17 November parliamentary elections in Belarus. Early voting kicked off on 12 November to last through 16 November inclusively.

Accreditation to watch the elections in Belarus has also been granted to 47 diplomats, 21 representatives of election authorities of foreign countries. Three independent experts also intend to monitor the election campaign.
