DZERZHINSK DISTRICT, 29 June (BelTA) – Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon expressed interest in the use of Belarusian dairy production practices as he visited the Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky farm near Minsk on 29 June, BelTA has learned.
The high guest from Tajikistan visited the Falko-Agro dairy farm, a subsidiary of Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky. The Tajikistan president got acquainted with the use of new technologies in animal husbandry applied at this farm which produces milk of premium class.
“We need to set up a large complex to produce and process milk. The can be designed, for example, for 1,000 head. On our part we will find a company that will do it,” Emomali Rahmon noted as he talked about the need to adopt the Belarusian experience in animal husbandry.
The event was attended by Belarus Agriculture and Food Minister Anatoly Khatko, Minsk Oblast Governor Anatoly Isachenko and top executives of the Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky farm. The Belarusian side expressed readiness to implement projects in agriculture together with Tajikistan farmers.
