MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) - The China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone has a unique environment to implement high-tech and competitive innovative projects with high export potential, Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeyenko said during an onsite seminar to discuss investment and export potential of the Belarusian economy in the industrial park, BelTA learned.
“Today's seminar in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone aims to address the following objectives: to discuss the investment and export policies and to examine successful examples of capital investment in establishing new production facilities,” Igor Sergeyenko stated.
The Industrial Park Great Stone is a unique hub for high-tech and competitive innovative projects with high export potential, he emphasized. “Today we visited a number of enterprises operating in the park. We could see how the creation and development of the park and the introduction of favorable conditions for its residents contributed to the country's economy. The most important thing is that the park is vigorously developing. It has some promising projects in the pipeline,” Igor Sergeyenko said.
The seminar aims to discuss practical implementation of Belarus' investment policy, preferential treatment to investors, taking into account specifics of an investment project, and export capacity building to promote Belarusian exports.
