MOSCOW, 12 December (BelTA) – The 55th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union State will be held in Moscow on 21-22 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly.
“The MPs will consider the Union State budget for 2019 (two readings), amendments and additions to the Union State budget for 2018, the report of the Union State Council of Ministers on the 2017 budget execution,” the press service noted.
The MPs will also examine the draft concept of convergence of legislation of the states parties to the Union State Treaty. The document was drafted by the Union State Standing Committee, ministries and agencies in order to identify promising areas of work to ensure equal rights of citizens of Belarus and Russia. In addition, the Union State MPs will consider a number of organizational issues, the work schedule of the Parliamentary Assembly and the international activities of the Parliamentary Assembly in 2019.
“The government hour” will be dedicated to the issues relating to the development of the common scientific and technological space of the Union State and the cancellation of roaming charges in the Union State.
The session is to be attended by the heads of ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia, representatives of the Union State Standing Committee and permanent observers to the Parliamentary Assembly.
