MOSCOW, 12 December (BelTA) – The Interim Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and its member states, on the one part, and Mongolia, on the other, has been ratified by Mongolia’s State Great Hural, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

“We welcome Mongolia’s ratification of the agreement, completed promptly and with strong approval from the members of the State Great Hural. We look forward to the swift completion of the necessary procedures by all our member states,” noted Andrey Slepnev, Member of the Board (Minister) for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The EEC added that the agreement, “signed on 27 June 2025, on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Minsk, marks a new stage in relations between the EAEU countries and Mongolia. It covers 367 commodity sub-items for each party, for which customs duties will be either eliminated or reduced once the document enters into force. These preferences collectively apply to more than 90% of current bilateral trade volume.”
