Inflation in Belarus at 0.9% in October

MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – In October 2021 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.9% as against September 2021 and 108.5% as against December 2020, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.

In October the base index of consumer prices, which rules out changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 100.7% as against September 2021 and 108.4% as against December 2020.

Prices for foods rose by 1.4% from September 2021 and by 9.3% from December 2020.

Prices for non-foods increased by 0.6% from September 2021 and 9.1% from December 2020.

In October prices for services inched up by 0.4% from September 2021 and 6.3% from December 2020.
