MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) - Almost all harvesting works have been completed in Belarus, BelTA learned from the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
Grain and leguminous crops (including maize) were harvested from 2.38 million hectares, which is 99.4% of the plan. Agricultural companies and farmers have threshed 9.406 million tonnes of grain.
Maize for grain was harvested from the area of 213,700ha (93.7%), producing 1.385 million tonnes with the average yield at 64.9 centners per hectare.
Belarus harvested 13.1 million tonnes of haylage, which Accounts for 97.6% of the plan, 18 million tonnes of silage (94.1% of the plan), grass fodder - 9.065 million tonnes (95.1%).
