MINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – In November 2025, Belarusian resident companies were net sellers of foreign currency, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
The commercial entities sold $84.8 million worth of currency more than they bought. In November, legal entities purchased the equivalent $3.289 billion worth of foreign currency and sold $3.374 billion. In January-November 2025, foreign currency purchases by legal entities exceeded sales by nearly $2 billion.
Individuals in Belarus remain net sellers of foreign currency for the ninth month in a row. In November, individuals sold $144.1 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased. They bought the equivalent of $1.032 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $1.176 billion worth of foreign currency.
In January-November 2025, individuals sold $1.5 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased.
