Call to adopt Belarus-Russia integration plans, including in energy, in single package

MOSCOW 15 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has urged to adopt all integration plans with Russia, including in energy sector, in a single package. He put forward this proposal as he met with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin in Moscow on 15 April, BelTA has learned.

“We have already drafted more than 30 joint action plans to implement the road map for the Union State integration for the next three years. I deem it necessary to fast-track the development of these plans and adopt them in a single package,” said Roman Golovchenko.

According to him, most of the plans have been approved, with three or four pending. “Energy plans are traditionally the most challenging. But I think we don’t need to take them out of the package, we need to give instructions to finalize these documents and adopt them, as I have already said, in a single package,” Belarus’ prime minister emphasized.
