MINSK, 8 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom together with the single operator OAO 8 Marta has designed and has started manufacturing new corporate uniforms for personnel of the fast food restaurant chain Mak.by, the concern’s press service told BelTA.
The use of only Belarusian raw materials and components is a key peculiarity of this project. The country’s leading garment manufacturers worked on creating the collection.
The capacity to make the new uniforms was made available by OAO 8 Marta, OAO Lenta, OAO Zhlobin Sewing Factory, OOO Furnitur-BY, OAO Slavyanka, and OAO Lida Footwear Factory. The order has been fulfilled via the concern’s dedicated operator OAO 8 Marta. It allowed synchronizing the work of several factories and ensuring the high quality of ready-made goods.
The new uniforms use a unified style. It is supposed to make the Mak.by brand more recognizable and make customers more loyal. However, Bellegprom believes that 100% manufacturing localization is the key result of the project: all the fabrics, accessories, and parts used to make the apparel are made in Belarus.
Bellegprom noted that make corporate uniforms for retail chains is a promising area of business for the Belarusian light industry. Such orders allow keeping Belarusian producers busy and confirm they are ready to make competitive products for major retailers.
