MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – BelGee has rebuilt logistics chains and ensured rhythmic deliveries of component parts, BelGee Director General Gennady Svidersky told the media on 17 November, BelTA has learned.
"The problems that we are now facing are logistics, the shortage of chips that the automotive industry is still struggling with, lockdowns that happen from time to time in China due to the pandemic. We are working to find a way of sustainable development in the new conditions," Gennady Svidersky said.
He noted that it was not easy to establish the supply of components in the current conditions. "Not all difficulties have been overcome yet. We had to completely change all logistics chains. In the past we used the routes via Lithuania. Now we have switched to Kazakhstan, Russia. In other words we use the ports of Vladivostok and railway services more. It took time to establish these flows. Now deliveries are rhythmic,” the general director emphasized.
