
MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) - The Eurasian Development Bank forecasts continued wage growth in Belarus in 2025, reads the EDB weekly macro review, BelTA learned.
The Bank rakes into account a 6.7% increase in the base pay, a 13% January increase in the minimum wage and an increase in the level of allowances for certain categories of public sector employees.
“In Belarus, real wages rose by 13% in 2024 after growing by 11.6% in 2023. In the public sector, real wages went up by 11%. In 2024 the ratio of labor remuneration in the public sector to the average in the economy remained at the level of 2023 (about 77%),” the EDB noted.
