BelAZ strengthens cooperation with Russia’s Khabarovsk Territory

MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – As part of its partnership with Khabarovsk Territory, one of Russia’s largest regions, the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ continues to supply mining equipment in the most in-demand payload classes, contributing to the development of promising mineral deposits, the BelAZ’s press service told BelTA.

Over the past year, the mining and processing plant, which is developing the Malmyzh deposit, one of the region’s richest deposits known for its copper, gold, and silver reserves, received a large shipment from Belarus: 80 BelAZ-7513D mining dump trucks with a payload capacity of 130 tonnes, 32 of which were delivered this year. These trucks are used to transport massive volumes of ore along the haul roads of two open-pit sites. This summer, the fleet was further reinforced with a new BelAZ-7413D mining tow truck.

At the Urgal coal mine, 15 heavier 220-tonne BelAZ-7530G dump trucks have begun operations. These are the highest-capacity machines in the region and are already contributing to a significant increase in coal production.

Eight BelAZ-7558R dump trucks with a 90-tonne payload were sent to the Albazino gold deposit, where they are used to transport ore and soil containing precious metals.

The new BelAZ models, ranging from 90 to 220 tonnes in payload capacity, now operating at mining sites of Khabarovsk Territory, are known for their reliability, high performance, and full compliance with modern mining industry standards. Their effectiveness has already been proven in other Russian regions with similar working conditions, including heavy production loads and extreme climates.

Khabarovsk Territory is a vast industrial region with a well-developed mining sector. Its subsoil is rich in precious and non-ferrous metals, hard and brown coal. The current BelAZ fleet in the region includes dump trucks with payload capacities from 30 to 220 tonnes, along with various specialized equipment.
