MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) - Belarusian enterprises are showcasing their potential at the International Istanbul Yarn Fair 2025, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
The flagships of the Belarusian petrochemical industry are featured at a joint stand of the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry (Belneftekhim) and Belinterexpo.
Taking part in the exhibition are the largest producer of oil products in Belarus Naftan, the leaders in textile and technical products manufacturing SvetlogorskKhimvolokno and Mogilevkhimvolokno, the producer of glass fiber and related products Polotsk-Steklovolokno, and the mineral fertilizer producer Grodno Azot.
The Belarusian companies are displaying a range of synthetic fibers and yarns, polymer composites, heat-resistant yarns that have no analogues in the world, glass fibers and products made from them, acrylic and polyester fibers used in the production of yarn and artificial fur.
Thanks to the visitors from Europe, Asia, and the Balkans, the Istanbul Yarn Fair has been recognized as the largest gathering place for yarn manufacturers from around the world.
The Belarusian producers are set to hold business meetings with representatives of associations of the chemical and textile industries in Türkiye and B2B meetings with foreign partners.
The Istanbul Yarn Fair is being held on 26-28 February 2025. It brings together more than 500 companies, over 20,000 specialists and representatives of industry manufacturers showcasing a wide range of yarns and raw materials for textile products, technical projects and solutions, including eco-friendly yarns made from organic cotton and recycled materials. Attending the exhibition are also companies from Germany, Italy, China and Russia. In total, manufacturers from over 80 countries are taking part in the exhibition.
