MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) - The synergy between Belarusian engineering and Chinese production facilities will let the countries open new horizons of cooperation, representatives of the delegation of Belarusian enterprises shared their impressions following their business visit to Guangzhou organized by the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), BelTA learned from the BelCCI Office in Minsk.
The business visit of representatives of Belarusian enterprises to Guangzhou was aimed at expanding trade and economic partnership with Chinese companies. The visit, which took place within the framework of the strategy for the development of bilateral relations, included a tour of the 137th Canton Fair and a series of meetings with key players in China’s innovation sector.
The delegation also studied the infrastructure of Innovation Bay, the key hub of the Greater Bay Area strategy, which unites Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The Belarusian representatives got familiar with the mechanisms of state support for startups and foreign investments. They discussed the possibilities of integrating Belarusian IT solutions into Chinese technological projects and studied the cluster's experience in creating an ecosystem for business associations and R&D.
A working meeting also took place with Liu Wei, Deputy Director General of the Policy Planning Department of the Nansha District Committee. The parties touched upon the prospects of opening representative offices of Belarusian companies in Innovation Bay.
Preliminary agreements were concluded with three Chinese manufacturers for industrial equipment supplies.
