MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – Belarus and the Dominican Republic are interested in cooperation in various sectors of the economy. This matter was discussed at the meeting of Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Vladimir Ulakhovich with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Republic of Belarus on concurrent Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos, BelTA learned from the BelCCI website.
“The parties analyzed the results and prospects of business contacts between Belarus and the Dominican Republic, with a focus on the food industry, pharmaceutics, tourism, and joint business events. The parties told each other about the benefits of doing business in the free economic zones in Belarus and the Dominican Republic,” the BelCCI informed.
The BelCCI head also met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Belarus (non-resident) Lotfi Bouchaara.
According to the BelCCI, the parties discussed plans to scale up cooperation between businesses of Belarus and Morocco, a possibility to take part in events in Belarus and Morocco, and to arrange visits of business delegations.
The ambassador conveyed the interest of Moroccan business circles to take part in the third Belarus-Africa Economic Forum that will take place in Cairo in May 2022.
