MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) - This year, 1.4 million square meters of housing will be built in Belarus with the use of state support. This is almost 400,000 square meters more than in 2023, BelTA learned from the press service of the Architecture and Construction Ministry of Belarus.
According to the housing construction program approved by the government’s resolution of 31 January2024, the target is to build 4.4 million square meters of the total area of residential buildings in the country using all sources of financing, of which 355,600 square meters are rental housing.
