MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – Oil transit to Poland via Belarus using the Mozyr-Brest trunk line has been resumed after a brief suspension, BelTA learned from Aleksandr Tishchenko, Press Secretary of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, on 23 October.
The spokesman said: “The Polish side has fixed the problems. Transit is being restored. The oil pipeline operators are starting to move oil.”
Poland asks Belarus to suspend oil transfer via Mozyr-Brest trunk line due to technical problems
Due to technical problems in Poland the Polish side represented by PAO Transneft's office in Poland has requested a suspension of oil transportation via the Mozyr-Brest trunk line, Aleksandr Tishchenko said.
The Mozyr-Brest trunk line is part of the Druzhba oil pipeline system and is used for transit of Russian oil to Poland and then to other European countries.
