MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) - The base amount in Belarus was increased to Br40 on 1 January 2024 in line with the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No.944 “On setting the base amount" of 27 December 2024, BelTA learned.
Last year the base amount equaled Br37 and was set by the government’s Resolution No.967 of 30 December 2022.
The size of some benefits, scholarships, taxes and fees, fines and other payments is tied to the base amount.
