
MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin emphasized the need for constructive and efficient work in preparing for the Eurasian Economic Forum as he chaired a meeting to discuss the event’s organization, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Turchin recalled that the Eurasian Economic Forum will take place on 26-27 June and will coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of EAEU heads of state. “These are major events. Time is running out before they take place, so we are meeting today to discuss organizational matters and resolve any existing issues,” the premier said.
He urged all participants to work quickly and constructively to address the outlined matters.
The upcoming forum will focus on the strategy of Eurasian integration, its results and prospects. The forum is due in Minsk as Belarus chairs the Eurasian Economic Union in 2025.
Attending the Eurasian Economic Forum 2025 will be leaders of large, medium-sized and small businesses of EAEU members and third countries, officials and representatives of state authorities of EAEU countries, leaders and government members of third countries and representatives of international organizations interested in developing cooperation with the EAEU.
