
MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin outlined the priorities of the social and economic development forecast for 2026 during a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers, the government’s press service told BelTA.
“The year 2026 marks the launch of a new five-year program, and the social and economic development forecast must primarily aim to fulfill its objectives, meet the requirements of economic security, and create conditions for further growth in the population’s well-being,” the prime minister emphasized.
The meeting also reviewed drafts of the social and economic development forecast, monetary policy targets, and the national budget for 2026.
