
MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) – The efficiency of state financial support for exports was discussed at a government meeting chaired by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin on 20 May, BelTA has learned.
“Exports play a key role in the Belarusian economy, making a big contribution to GDP and foreign exchange earnings. Successful exports stimulate production, increase the income of enterprises and promote employment, which has a positive impact on economic growth,” said Aleksandr Turchin.
The prime minister emphasized the importance of understanding what export promotion mechanisms are effective today and what results will be achieved in the end. Each budget ruble should bring maximum profit to the economy, he added.
