“Belarus offers good terms”. Lipetsk governor on trade growth in challenging conditions

LIPETSK, 14 November (BelTA) – A key achievement of the cooperation between Belarus and Russia’s Lipetsk Oblast is the consistent annual growth of mutual trade, Lipetsk Oblast Governor Igor Artamonov told journalists following a meeting with Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik in Lipetsk on 14 November, BelTA reports.

“Our achievement is that we have seen a significant increase in trade. We are proud that trade with the Republic of Belarus is growing year after year. It is not stagnating; it is growing at a good pace. We are happy with this, and we intend to keep it up,” the governor stated.

He further emphasized: “Belarusians have always been known for building good roads, housing, vehicles, including MAZ trucks. And in today’s challenging conditions, the Belarusian side is offering good terms. Therefore, we will consider all of this, including, of course, cooperation chains.”
