
MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Yuri Gorlov talked about possible areas of Belarusian-Libyan cooperation in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA learned.
A Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich visited Libya, in furtherance of the agreements reached at the highest level. This time, Belarusian representatives came to assess possible prospects and potential for cooperation on the spot.
Agriculture was on the agenda. "Taking into account our agricultural engineering capabilities, with the help of our specialists, we can cultivate wheat on the territory of the state that will be subsequently processed into mixed fodder. But mainly we talk about the flour industry and flour production. We have enterprises in Belarus that are ready to build a feed mill with a flour production shop," Yuri Gorlov said.
Cooperation in the field of healthcare and other areas were also studied.
