MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in strengthening partnerships with Botswana. This topic was discussed at the talks between Deputy Industry Minister of Belarus Denis Bakei and Botswana's Minister of Lands and Agriculture Edwin Gorataone Dikoloti, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.
The parties mapped out plans to establish bilateral trade and economic contacts, to exchange experience in the manufacturing sector and to launch joint projects. A lot of attention during the talks was given to the export of goods and technologies of Belarus' Industry Ministry enterprises to Botswana.
Denis Bakei emphasized that Botswana is a new promising export destination for Belarus, therefore it is important to build presence on this market. “We are interested in expanding cooperation and getting our enterprises into new markets. I am confident that joint efforts will help us achieve good results and bolster the positions of our countries in international markets,” the deputy industry minister emphasized.
