MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) - Belarus and Indonesia held a meeting of the joint commission for trade, economic and technical cooperation in a videoconference format, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties considered the whole range of issues of bilateral cooperation with a focus on the development of cooperation in industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, science, education, tourism, digital economy and creative industries,” the press service of the ministry said.
The delegations confirmed their mutual interest and focus on the creation of favorable conditions for further expansion of trade, economic and investment relations. The parties reached an agreement to establish a working group in agriculture and hold its first meeting during the Belagro 2022 international agricultural exhibition.
The parties signed an action plan to develop key areas of cooperation between Belarus and Indonesia for 2022-2023, a memorandum of understanding between the State Committee for Standardization of Belarus and the National Standardization Agency of Indonesia, and a memorandum of understanding between the State Committee for Standardization and the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs on cooperation in halal products quality.
