Belarus' GDP 4.9% down in January-August

MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) – Belarus' Gross Domestic Product (GDP) dropped by 4.9% in January-August, the National Statistics Committee told BelTA.

According to initial estimates, the GDP amounted to Br122 billion in current prices or 95.1% as against January-August 2021 in comparable prices.

In January-August 2022 the GDP deflator index equaled 117.2% year-on-year.
