MOSCOW, 11 October (BelTA) – Belarus is exploring opportunities for cooperation with Russia in the production of electric water transport, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia told BelTA.
Belarus’ Consul General in St. Petersburg Nikolai Rogozhnik visited the production site of the Empirium company in Kirovsk District of Leningrad Oblast. The company specializes in the production of electric river vessels and produces recreational electric boats, electric passenger vessels, and electric buses for water transportation.

The Belarusian diplomat reviewed the production technology, expansion prospects, and the range of models currently under development. The launch of new workshops is expected to double output, up to 25 vessels per year, by 2026.

Following the visit, a working meeting was held with representatives from the Brest Oblast Executive Committee, Pinsk Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant, Kuzlitmash, and the management of Empirium. The parties discussed potential cooperative projects and mutually beneficial use of Belarusian manufacturing capacities and technologies, the embassy noted.
